Having said all that, I have an iPhone and an iPad, and the AirTV2 works great using the Sling app on those devices, it just does not work on the Apple TV Sling app. So, if you want to watch local over the air stations and use Sling, AND have an Apple TV device, do not buy the AirTV2 box.
